This calculator determines the Nystatin dose for treating oral thrush (candidiasis), using a concentration of Nystatin 100,000 units/mL, based on the patient’s age group:

Children 1 month to 1 year: 2 to 4 mL (200,000 to 400,000 units) QID, divide administration between both sides of the mouth
Children ≥2 years and adults: Swish and swallow 4 to 6 mL (400,000 to 600,000 units) QID
