This calculator determines the Phenylephrine dose for relieving nasal congestion, using a concentration of Phenylephrine 2.5 mg/5 mL, based on the patient’s age group:

Age 4 to 5 years: 5 mL (2.5 mg) po every 4 hours (Max 6 doses/24 hours)
Age 6 to 11 years: 10 mL (5 mg) po every 4 hours (Max 6 doses/24 hours)
Age 12 years and adults: 20 mL (10 mg) po every 4 hours (Max 6 doses/24 hours)
